Warranty countdown + alerts

Each asset shows a tone-coded warranty badge: mint when months out ('Until Mar 2027'), amber within 30 days ('Expires in 18d'), coral when expired. Renewal-reminder pipeline pings you 30/14/7/3/1/0 days before expiry.

Service history + manuals + receipts

Log services, repairs, warranty claims, inspections. Attach manuals, warranty cards, service invoices. Service receipts also AI-scan to auto-fill provider + cost.

Insurance schedule export (roadmap)

One-button PDF/CSV with every asset's name, brand, model, serial, purchase date, price, location. Send to your home-contents insurance broker. Coming soon.

What you can do with this

Fridge breaks

Search 'fridge' — find your Defy. Tap warranty: 'Until Jan 2028 (Manufacturer)'. Bring up the receipt PDF, call Defy, claim. 5 minutes total.

Home contents insurance renewal

Broker asks for a current list. Export the asset register (CSV/PDF coming). Done.

After a break-in

Police want serial numbers. You have every TV / laptop / camera / power tool serial in one searchable list. Make the claim with confidence.

Common questions

Can I attach product manuals?

Yes. Each asset has a documents section — drop PDFs (manual, warranty card, receipt) or photos. Preview in-app.

What if I don't have the original receipt?

Just log what you remember — name, brand, model, approximate purchase date. The serial number off the back of the unit is usually enough for a warranty claim.

Can I track depreciation?

Not automatically yet. You can record the purchase price; depreciation calculation is on the roadmap.

How is this different from spreadsheet tracking?

Photos attached, search by anything, mobile-first entry, automatic warranty alerts, integrated receipt OCR, and works offline. Spreadsheets do none of those well.
